2008 SUMMER READING LISTS
for Grades . . .

The foundations of reading begin the minute you start reading aloud to your child.  Reading is the single most important activity you can participate in with your child to increase their chances of school success.  Observing a parent, grandparent, or sibling reading also helps to increase the chances that your child will becomes a lifelong reader. They really are watching you!
Practice reading everyday: jokes, riddles, poetry, comics, billboards, newspapers, magazines, cookbooks and even cereal boxes!

Remember reading is a gift,
something that your child will use everyday!
