Dear Apex Elementary Parents and Students,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Apex Elementary website. This site is maintained by a joint effort of the Apex Elementary PTA and Mrs. Bacola, our Technology Assistant at Apex Elementary.
We are pleased to announce that Apex Elementary has received an School of Distinction designation from the State of North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. The School of Distinction was earned due to the following:
-- 83.5 composite score
-- high growth that exceeded the goal
-- adequate yearly progress by all sub groups within the school
As I mentioned before, this web site is thanks to a combined effort between the PTA and Apex Elementary. This combined effort between the school and the PTA has lead to Apex Elementary being the first public school in Wake County to be recognized by the National PTA as a Parent Involvement School of Excellence. The Apex Elementary PTA is a leader in parent and community involvement.
